Rod Walters lives and writes in Rochester, New York, and is old enough to have voted in the 1968 US Presidential election (which he did). This means he's old enough to know much good stuff to write about, and to do so without being a smart-aleck.
Walters, by the way, is a writing name. Simpler than his actual name. Those who know him personally or by sight will certainly recognize him anyway. For those who don't, why confuse things? After all, you can choose everything but your name, your relatives, and the color of the used car you buy.
Walters writes poetry, children's books, and nonfiction. In every case, his main wish is to make his writing a pleasure to read and (by all means!) understandable. He also hates to be called "the author," and doesn't care much for being referred to in the third person, but "the industry" seems to go for that sort of thing. |
